Ok, the most anticipated event of the year is finally here. In just less 20 minutes to be exact. Being the spotlight event of the year, Apple is believed by most of the tech blogs to be introducing few other products rather than just iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks. This is definitely a good thing because it's been 4 whole years since Apple introduced iPad to the world, which totally changed the tablet market around the world.

So, what to expect from WWDC2014?

Well first thing first, it's going to be iOS 8, which already has a banner hung up at the event venue.

We know for sure iOS 8 is going to be the one thing that current iPhone and iPad users want to know most from the event. We've seen rumours about it from many tech blogs, which I personally think is trustable. Well, we'll have to wait and see.

iPhone 5S/5C in Malaysia

Yea, like I've mentioned previously, iPhone 5S/5C will be hitting our shores on Oct 31 (less than 5 days). But not much has been published by our telcos on the price of the them. Since the Malaysia Apple Online Store was updated with other apple online stores worldwide right after the launch of iPad Air, the prices of both iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C are revealed.

A little disappointment with the new prices set by the store for iPhone 5S, I was expecting the same price as iPhone 5 when it was launched. It has increased RM 200 for the 16GB version, RM 250 for both the 32GB and 64GB version as compared to the price last year, which was RM 2,199, RM 2,399, and RM 2,799. It might have something to do with the weak Malaysia Currency, well that's what I guess. I wonder if there's anyone who's gonna purchase the iPhones from the online store as the "Available to ship" is currently unavailable, so I'd sugggest you guys to get it from Maxis.

Well, around 2 weeks have past since I've signed the ROI of iPhone from Maxis, I have not received any information there after, but one of my friends, who is a Maxis One Club Member has received the price list for both the iPhone 5s and 5S. He's screenshot the details to me and I'd be happy to share it with you guys.

The price is for Maxis One Club Member, I guess it would be the same for non one club, just that One Club Members are informed earlier regarding the price and they can pre-book the iPhone earlier. If you would like to know more or be an One Club Member, go to this link and find out more.

Apple: We still have a lot to cover.

It's official! Apple just sent out invites to selected members of press for an iPad event that is going to take place on coming Tuesday, October 22.

This event will commence at 10:00 a.m. PT [1 p.m. EST / 1 a.m. Malaysia Time (23rd, October)], at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco, the same venue where 3rd Generation iPad was launched.

Personally, this is one of the most anticipated events of the year after the iPhone 5S/5C event. I'm expecting the 5th Generation iPad and 2nd Generation iPad Mini from the event and hopefully the rumoured Gold version of them. Besides, 2nd Generation iPad Mini is expected to carry the Retina Display. OS X Mavericks, and the new MacBook Pro with Haswell processor may also come to surface in the event.

Predicting from the colours on the invites, are the new iPads and iPad Mini coming with different colours just like the iPhone 5C? We will see. It'd be fun. Stay tuned for updates on the event and I would be sharing links to the livestream of the event soon.
